UNC Guggenheim Hall Renovation

Guggenheim Hall was built in 1912 to house the Departments of Visual Arts and Industrial Arts. Today, the beautifully restored historic Guggenheim houses classrooms, offices, studios and the remodeled Mariani Gallery. State-of-the-art computer graphics labs and theater style art history lecture rooms contain Smart Classroom technology. The 75,000-slide collection has been installed in the Art Resources Center. Painting and drawing studios are bright, day-lit spaces which also feature adjustable track lighting.
