Randy Shortridge Architect and Urban Designer

A passionate design architect who thinks like an urban designer and an urban designer who thinks like an architect - Randy returned to his hometown of Fort Collins in 2008 and joined RB+B Architects after an 18-year tenure as a design leader and Vice President in the Los Angeles office of internationally known, full-service design firm RTKL.

An expert in mixed-use planning and architecture, Randy’s projects respond creatively to the challenges of dense urban locales, transit-oriented developments, affordable housing projects and public spaces with special attention to climate and geography, while embracing a modern design aesthetic. His portfolio includes projects in the United States, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and the Bahamas.

In his free time, Randy enjoys running, hiking, skiing and travel - as well as spending time with his wife and two sons.
